Types of Interchange of Degree

According to interchange degree can be divided in two forms: इंटरचेंज के अनुसार डिग्री को दो रूपों में विभाजित किया जा सकता है|

1. Direct form of degree (The best, The latest, The smarter etc.)

2. Indirect form of degree (One of best, One of the smartest etc.)

Full Form:

• P.D – Positive Degree
• C.D – Comparative Degree
• S.D – Superlative Degree
• A.V – Auxiliary Verb

1. Interchange of Direct form

P.D- No other + case (singular) + auxiliary verb + as + P.D. + as + subject

C.D- Subject + A.V + C.D. + any other/all other + case (singular/plural)

S.D- Subject + A.V + S.D + case (singular)

Example:

• P.D – No other boys are as smart Ram.
• C.D – Ram is smarter than another boy.
• S.D – Ram is the smartest boy.

2. Interchange of Degree form

P.D – very few + caste (plural) + auxiliary verb + as + P.D + as + subject

C.D – subject + auxiliary verb + C.D + most other + caste (plural)

S.D – subject + auxiliary verb + one + of S.D + caste (plural)

Example:

• P.D – Very few boys are as smart as Ram.
• C.D – Ram is smarter than most other boys.
• S.D – Ram is one of the smartest boys.

2. उसकी गाड़ी मेरी गाड़ी से तेज़ चलती है – His car runs faster than my car.
3. तुम्हारी बहन मेरी बहन से अधिक सुंदर है – Your sister is more beautiful than my sister.
4. वह छात्र उस से कहीं अच्छा पढ़ता है – That student studies much better than him.
5. तुम्हारा घर मेरे घर से बड़ा है – Your house is bigger than my house.
6. उसकी बातें उससे ज्यादा समझदार होती हैं – Her words are more intelligent than him.
7. यह किताब उसकी किताब से काफी महंगी है – This book is quite more expensive than his book.
8. तुम्हारा विचार मेरे विचार से बेहतर है – Your opinion is better than my opinion.
9. वह स्कूल उस से बेहतर है जहां हम पहले पढ़ते थे – That school is better than the one where we used to study earlier.
10. मेरी माँ तुम्हारी माँ से अधिक समझदार है – My mother is more intelligent than your mother.

1. वह सबसे ऊँचा है। – He is the tallest.
2. यह गाड़ी सबसे तेज़ चलती है – This car runs the fastest.
3. मेरी बहन सबसे सुंदर है – My sister is the most beautiful.
4. वह छात्र सबसे अच्छा पढ़ता है – That student studies the best.
5. मेरा घर सबसे बड़ा है – My house is the biggest.
6. उसकी बातें सबसे समझदार होती हैं – Her words are the most intelligent.
7. यह किताब सबसे महंगी है – This book is the most expensive.
